Browsing the site stores nothing about you, apart from a copy of the gallery and your theme choice kept in your own browser. This page covers what is stored when you sign in to the suggestions board.
What is stored
- Your name, email address and profile picture, as Google returns them when you sign in.
- The nickname and photo you choose for the board.
- The suggestions you post and the votes you cast.
It lives in a Supabase database hosted in the EU and is used only to run the board. Nothing is sold or shared. Your Google password never reaches this site.
Who sees it
The board shows your nickname, your photo, your suggestions and how many votes each suggestion has. Who voted for what is not shown, but it is visible to whoever runs it — me — in the admin view, under your nickname. What Google returned is shown to nobody.
Deleting your data
Sign in, open your profile and choose Delete account. Your nickname, photos and votes go with it, and every photo you uploaded is deleted from storage, not just unlinked. Your suggestions stay on the board without your name, because other people voted on them.
Until the week closes (Sunday midnight, Madrid time) two things remain, shown nowhere: the sign-in record Google issued, and a note that the account already voted or suggested that week. They stop a deleted account from signing straight back in for a second vote. When the week closes, both are deleted automatically.
