Luniverse AI is a personal project. This page explains what is stored when you sign in to the suggestions board at the bottom of the front page. Browsing the rest of the site keeps nothing about you beyond your own browser — a copy of the public gallery so it opens fast, and whether you chose the light or the dark theme — and counts the visit, as below. The gallery pictures are fetched through the resizer listed under Third parties, which means your browser asks it for them directly.

Counting visits

Pages are counted with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, follows nobody between sites and builds no profile: it records that a page was opened, from which country and on what kind of device. I see totals, never a person. How Vercel handles it.

What is stored

Your Google password is never seen by this site — Google handles the sign-in. Nothing that comes from your Google account is ever shown on the page either: not your name, not your email address, not your Google picture. The board shows the nickname and the photo you choose, and nothing else.

Where it is stored

In a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database hosted in the EU (eu-west-1). Your nickname, your photo and the suggestions you post are public on the board; so is the number of votes each suggestion has. Who cast them is not shown on the board, but it is visible to whoever runs it — that is me — in the admin view, under the nickname you chose. What Google returned — your name, your address, your Google picture — stays in the database and is shown to nobody.

What it is used for

Only to run the board: to show who suggested what, to count votes, and to enforce the limit of one suggestion per person per week. Nothing is sold, shared with advertisers or used for profiling.

Deleting your data

You do it yourself, and it takes one press: sign in, open your profile on the suggestions board and choose Delete account. Your nickname, your photos and your votes go with it — every photo you uploaded is deleted from storage, not just unlinked. The suggestions you posted stay on the board without your name on them, because other people voted on those.

Two things outlast the press until the end of that week — Sunday midnight, Madrid time — and neither is shown anywhere: the sign-in record Google issued, and a line saying that the account voted or suggested that week, without what was voted for. They stay only so that deleting an account and signing straight back in cannot hand out a second vote. Once the week has closed, both are deleted automatically, within the hour. If you sign back in before then, nothing is deleted and your account simply carries on.
